A Golden Advice

If I were asked to give what I consider the single most useful bit of advice for all humanity, it would be this: Expect trouble as an inevitable part of life, and when it comes, hold your head high. Look it squarely in the eye, and say, “I will be bigger than you. You cannot defeat me.

Are you an Engineer or a Manager?

I came across this funny and extreemly witty story which I hope you enjoy reading!

Once upon a time there was man who is flying in a balloon. After a while he noticed that he lost his way, so he lowered the balloon slightly down. He saw a lady standing down below; he called down upon her “I want to ask you a question, I have an appointment with a friend and I’m almost an hour late to my appointment. Would you be able to tell me where I am?”
The lady looking up at the man in the balloon replied: “Ok, well you are inside a balloon 10 meters above the ground. And geographically you are between 40 to 41 degrees north and 95 to 60 degrees west long”.
The man getting irritated: “What are you talking about I did not understand a word you said”.
The woman: “Look at the sides of your balloon, showing directions”.
The man stated: “You are an engineer!”
The woman: “Yes, how did you know?”
The man answered: “Because your information is correct, however not useful to me. I did not want to want to test your knowledge but only know where I am. Would it be too much to answer this simple question and tell me where I am without showing off how clever you are?”
The woman looked at the man and asked: “Are you a Manager?”
The man answered: “That is correct, how did you know?”
The lady answered: “It is simple you are lost and don’t know where you are or where you are going, because you only reached where you are now with the help of a bit of wind and because you promised something you cannot possibly keep and more importantly because you expect those who are below you to obey your commands and solve your problems”.
